Black Ivy needed branding for its new EP release. Hip-Hop being the genre, the client wanted to go in a different direction by staying classy and adding subtle cues that pertain to the Hip-Hop industry.

Starting with an artistic approach, we had massive amounts of fun hand-drawing ivy leaves and painted a flowing water-color texture for it to lay on.

Pattern Design

The pattern became the main component of the Black Ivy brand Identity. Mixing in marijuana leaves with ivy leaves brought a bit of spice to the simplicity of drawing ivy.
